TAMPA, FL — The Florida Legislature passed a flurry of bills for Gov. Ron DeSantis to sign, including a bill to eliminate the need for a permit for a concealed gun, an effort to ban gender-affirming medical treatment for transgender children, a ban on abortions after six weeks of pregnancy and an election law that critics said would make it more difficult for minorities and students to vote.
