The deputy was brought to Tampa General Hospital, HCSO said.

The suspect’s vehicle was found abandoned about a mile from the second stop. Detectives have identified the owner of the car.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at 813-247-8200.

"Seeing this suspect show absolutely no regard for the life of our deputy, deliberately hitting him with his car is terrifying," said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “The entire Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is here for Deputy Hall and will do anything they can to support him and his family.”
