Pinellas County Adopts Budget With Reduced Millage Rate
On Thursday, the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners adopted resolutions approving the tentative millage rates and budgets.

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — On Thursday, the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners adopted resolutions approving the tentative millage rates and budgets for fiscal year 2022.
The board will take up final consideration and approval of the millage rates and budget at its Sept. 21 meeting.
The tentatively approved budget of $2.9 billion includes funding to support various community priorities, including stabilizing the Transportation Trust Fund. It includes reduced millage rates, made possible because the county set aside additional reserves last year in anticipation of a potential economic downturn, which has not occurred.
