“Hamilton” is a musical by Lin-Manuel Miranda based on the 2004 biography of Alexander Hamilton by Ron Chernow. The musical debuted in 2015, quickly becoming a smash success. Since its debut, “Hamilton” has won numerous accolades, including nearly a dozen Tony Awards, a Grammy for Best Musical Theater Album and a Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
