1. A Florida man on federal supervised release for participating in the January 6th Insurrection on Capitol Hill has been arrested for crashing a boat while drinking, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office. (WFTV)

2. Hideaway Café in St. Petersburg is closing its doors after its landlord did not renew the lease. The popular venue has served residents for 13 years, but says its days in business are numbered. No specific closing date was given. (Creative Loafing Tampa)

3. Two Republican Florida lawmakers are seeking to exempt churches in the state from future emergency orders. They said the proposal would, “prevent government from infringing on the rights of Floridians in the years to come, even in times of uncertainty and crisis.” (Orlando Weekly)
