FL High School Principal Accused Of Failing To Report Child Abuse
A Hillsborough County high school principal failed to report child abuse at a daycare center at the school, the sheriff's office said.
RIVERVIEW, FL — A high school principal in Hillsborough County was arrested Friday for failing to report child abuse, authorities said.
Detectives with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Section began investigating the case of a 4-year-old who was inappropriately touched by a 16-year-old while at the daycare operated at Spoto High School in Riverview, HCSO said in a news release.
The allegations were reported to the principal, Jazrick Haggins, 42, in April, and it went unreported to the Department of Children and Families and law enforcement for 14 days, the sheriff’s office said.

Haggins was found and arrested with the help from the Lakeland Police Department and booked into the Polk County Jail. he was charged with failure to report child abuse.
