Hit-And-Run Drivers Sought After Scooterist's Death

Police are asking the public's help in finding the driver, or drivers, who hit a woman after she fell from her scooter, killing her.

TAMPA, FL — Police are looking for possibly two hit-and-run drivers after a Wednesday night incident left one dead and another injured, reports say. It happened soon before 9 p.m. when a woman, driving a motorized scooter on Nebraska Avenue near E. 112th Avenue, hit a pedestrian and fell off.

Then, one or two vehicles ran her over, FOX13 reported. They didn't stop to help.

The woman, 33, died of her injuries, according to the outlet. The pedestrian suffered non life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital.

There may be a cash reward, FOX13 reported.
