Hot Dog! JoDog Craft Hot Dogs Joins Sparkman Wharf Dining Garden
JoDog Craft Hot Dogs at Sparkman Wharf features elevated twists on the classic American hot dog by Michelin-starred Chef Joe Isidori.

TAMPA, FL — Continuing a robust year for retail leasing at Water Street Tampa, Strategic Property Partners LLC unveiled a new American street food concept opening Monday at Sparkman Wharf’s shipping container dining garden.
JoDog Craft Hot Dogs, a new quick service restaurant, features elevated twists on the classic American hot dog by Michelin-starred Chef Joe Isidori and Millennium Restaurant Group.
“We are always on the lookout to bring fun and innovative food options to the table at Water Street Tampa,” said Lee Schaffler, chief portfolio officer for SPP.

Owned by Michelin-starred Chef Joe Isidori and Millennium Restaurant Group’s Guy Revelle and Mark Gibson, JoDog Craft Hot Dogs is a new street food concept offering chef-inspired riffs on one of America’s most iconic food items.
Signature menu items include a New York City-style chili cheese dog, the Carolina Slaw Dog, the spicy Mexico City Dog, Joe’s Famous Kimchee Dog and the Hello Tokyo, which features funky flavors of kewpie mayo, furikake and crispy garlic.

JoDog Craft Hot Dogs will also serve crispy waffle fries and spicy loaded fries, as well as beverages including beer, sake bombs and chilled signature cocktails.
“Hot dogs are the classic American street food, with 20 billion hot dogs consumed in the U.S. each year,” said Isidori. “At JoDog, the humble hot dog has undergone a gourmet makeover, and we’re excited to bring this fun new concept to Sparkman Wharf.”
A celebrated chef with restaurants across the country, Isidori is known for highly successful endeavors including the national restaurant Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer, which he co-founded and co-created in 2015, and JoToro Kitchen + Tequila Bar, which opened at Sparkman Wharf in November 2020.
After honing his skills in his father’s restaurants and refining his talents at the Culinary Institute of America, Isidori worked in Miami Beach, New York City and Las Vegas.
He was named a StarChefs.com Rising Star, won the NYCWFF Burger Bash three times, and earned the coveted Michelin star.
His most recent projects include Arthur & Sons, an old-school Italian eatery in New York City’s West Village; Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew at Disney Springs; and Serendipty3, a New York icon known for over-the-top treats and sensational savory fare.
He has talked wings with Michael Strahan on “Good Morning America,” taken on “Iron Chef” Bobby Flay in Kitchen Stadium and cooked alongside the “Barefoot Contessa” Ina Garten.
Isidore said he was drawn to Tampa because of its eclectic food and vibrant social scene.
Millennium Partners’ Gibson and Revelle are also the co-founders of Splitsville Luxury Lanes, with a location in Sparkman Wharf.
A part of Water Street Tampa — the 56-acre mixed-use development transforming downtown Tampa into a dynamic, walkable neighborhood — Sparkman Wharf is a central community gathering place featuring a 1-acre park surrounded by ground-level retail and loft-style office space.
The park is home to an intimate dining garden featuring national and local restaurant concepts and recreation lawn programmed with community events.
