Hurricane Irma: Hillsborough Reopens Sandbag Locations
Hillsborough County has stocked back up on sandbag materials to meet the growing demand as Hurricane Irma approaches.

TAMPA, FL — Hillsborough County residents in need of sandbags to prepare for the impacts Hurricane Irma may have on the region are in luck. After running out of materials Thursday morning, the county announced its supply had been replenished.
"The nearly 200,000 sandbags distributed so far is six to seven times more than distributed during any previous storm event," the county wrote in an email to media Thursday afternoon.
