Lakeland Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash In Thonotosassa

THONOTOSASSA, FL — A 71-year-old Lakeland man died after his motorcycle crashed on U.S.301 around 4 p.m. Monday.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 50-year-old Thonotosassa man in a Ford 150 was heading north on Jackson Road and the Lakeland man was riding at Harley Davidson motorcycle south on U.S. 301.

At the intersection, the Ford turned left and entered the path of the motorcycle, said troopers. The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital where he died.
