"In celebration of our restaurant's tenured existence in the Tampa Bay area, we are asking patrons to share their favorite photos taken while dining or enjoying events inside the restaurant. To sweeten the deal, those who bring in a photo now through June 29th can enjoy a complimentary dessert in exchange for sharing their treasured memories. Thank you all for your continued support of The View at CK's!"
The announcement was met with surprise and sadness by some.

"Why are you Closing? There has to be a reason...People don't like to pay for Parking at the Airport? Prices to high on Food?" asked Eddy Dean Winchester on Facebook.
CK's is a throwback to an earlier era of fine dining, with its romantic booths, elegant wine displays, and rotating views of the bay and city lights.
According to the restaurant website:
The design features a revolving 360 degree panoramic view of Tampa Bay, highlighted by the nightly sunset over crystal blue Gulf waters.
The restaurant is still highly rated by web sites like tripadvisor.com
(3.5 stars) and opentable.com (4.5 stars) and yelp (3 stars).
The hotel has decided to consolidate its restaurants and will begin dinner service at Cafe Elise in the hotel, which already serves breakfast and lunch, according to TBO.com.
