2. A local “Hamburglar” is stealing McDonald’s donation boxes intended for families in need. So far the thief has stolen boxes from Tampa, Zephyrhills, Pasco County, Hillsborough County and Lakeland. (Patch)

3. Duke Energy used over 500 explosives this weekend to bring down two of its power houses at the Crystal River coal plant that was built in the 1960s. (WFLA)

4. The City of Brooksville accidentally sold its water tower. The accidental buyer agreed to deed the tower back after the sale, however widespread outcry and criticism has come from the incident. (Tampa Bay Times)

5. Police are investigating a burglary at an Ellenton restaurant on U.S. Highway 301. Employees at Popi’s Place showed up to work Sunday and noticed the store had been burglarized and cash was missing. (WFLA)
