Puerto Rico has recently been rocked with hundreds of earthquakes that have damaged buildings throughout the island and left thousands of people in shelters and homeless.

The official estimated need is over $110 million and could be as high as $460 million before the 5.9 earthquake that hit this past Saturday, according to Reuters. Hospitals have experienced disruptions and access to power has once again been an issue on the island.

Lowry Parcade in Seminole Heights is aiming to do something about it and hosting an event for Puerto Rico earthquake relief on Wednesday, January 15th, 2020 from 5PM to 1AM. During the event all money spent on arcade play for the day will be donated towards the fundraiser that will benefit Project HOPE.

"The families that have been devastated by the earthquake need all the help they can get. This is nothing more than doing the right thing to help where we can. Our hope is that we can bring the community together to provide as much relief as possible."
