Man Hit By Truck While Running Across Highway: FL Highway Patrol

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — A man running across a highway died after being hit by a truck early Sunday morning in Hillsborough County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The 34-year-old Tampa man ran across State Road 674, east of 30th Street SE, just after midnight.

He was hit by a 31-year-old Leesburg man who was heading west on the road, FHP said.

The Tampa man was brought to an area hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
