A marked security SUV, with two people inside, pulled behind Beaty in an attempt to block him, but he intentionally reversed and hit them to create space.

When officers arrived, Beaty was located on the third floor of the parking garage, where he was taken into custody, police said.

There were no injuries in the incident.
