Man Killed Neighbor, Self In New Tampa Murder-Suicide: Sheriff
A man fatally shot his neighbor before turning the gun on himself Wednesday evening in New Tampa, the Hillsborough County sheriff said.

NEW TAMPA, FL — A Wednesday evening murder-suicide involving neighbors is under investigation in New Tampa, according to a Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office news release.
Deputies responded to a 911 call about a shooting in the 18000 block of Royal Forest Drive around 6:30 p.m.
When they arrived, they found the victim, 67-year-old Steven Glantz, with multiple gunshot wounds, the sheriff’s office said. He was brought to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Surveillance video footage showed the suspect, his neighbor, Timothy Lobianco, 66, approaching the home and running from it after the shooting.
Deputies found Lobianco nearby with a self-inflicted gunshot wound, the sheriff’s office said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives are investigating what led to the shooting.

HCSO is committed to supporting the grieving families as they navigate this incredibly difficult time.”
