1. The Clearwater Marine Aquarium has announced plans to build a new manatee rehabilitation center in Tarpon Springs due to a record number of deaths happening in the state. (Patch)

2. Florida Atlantic University and Florida International University released a new report arguing that Tampa Bay “is the most concerning” metro area in the state for inflated home prices. Researchers say they are overvalued by as much as 32%. (Creative Loafing Tampa)

3. The Seattle Kraken picked up Tampa Bay Lightning Center Yanni Gourde in the expansion draft. Gourde scored 80 regular-season goals and 16 postseason goals in six seasons with Tampa Bay. (ABC Action News)
