1. Rent has increased by 21.7% since the beginning of 2021 in Tampa Bay. In Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco and Hernando counties, workers need to make $24.44 an hour or $48,880 a year to afford a two-bedroom apartment. 2.8 minimum wage jobs are needed just to cover the cost of a two-bedroom. 2. Take me out to the ball game? Catch one of the final homestand Rays baseball games of the 2021 regular season for a discounted price of $10. Thousands of fan appreciation tickets are available and fans are encouraged to buy tickets in advance. (St. Pete Patch)
