More Victims Of Tampa Serial Kidnapper, Rapist Urged To Come Forward
Sherff Chad Chronister said detectives have linked Dandre McNeil to three kidnappings and rapes and attempted kidnappings and rapes.

TAMPA, FL — Detectives are looking for additional victims of a man charged with kidnapping, robbery and rape in several separate cases.
On Jan. 18 at approximately 4:30 p.m., the sheriff's office said Dandre McNeil, 25, approached a woman in the parking garage of the Hub on the Campus Tampa University of South Florida student apartment complex with a gun, and forced the woman into a vehicle.
Deputies said McNeil made the woman drive him to multiple locations to retrieve an undisclosed amount of money before leaving her at the intersections of East Hillsborough Avenue and Orient Road.

Through the course of the investigation, detectives were able to link McNeil to a similar incident on Jan. 2 at the Allegro Palm Condominiums in Riverview. Detectives said McNeil approached another woman with a gun and attempted to rob and then force her into a vehicle. She was able to escape without injury.
Working together, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office and the Seminole Police Department were also able to connect McNeil to the armed kidnapping, robbery and rape of a woman in the Tampa Seminole Hard Rock Casino parking garage on Jan. 7, the sheriff said.

“This is an individual who has no respect of the law or persons he victimizes,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “Our hearts go out to the victims of this serial kidnapper, and ask that if there are any other victims out there, please let us serve the justice you deserve, and find the help you may need.”
McNeil is facing several charges including battery, armed kidnapping, robbery with a firearm or deadly weapon and sexual battery.
