Motorcyclist Killed In Fiery Crash: Police

A second driver involved in the incident was injured, police said.

TAMPA, FL — A Tampa man was killed in a motorcycle crash Saturday night, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

The 28-year-old was speeding west on Hillsborough Avenue around 9:20 p.m. when he hit a Cadillac XTS that had been traveling east and was turning left at Montague Street in Town ’n’ Country, police said.

The motorcyclist was thrown from his vehicle, which erupted into flames, according to police, who said the driver of the Cadillac, a 67-year-old man from Tampa, suffered minor injuries.
