“Health and healing care is such a critical and growing concern these days, and it's important for professionals to stay connected for the sake of our personal and professional well-being,” said Kathy Fountain, HPN board member and longtime WTVT FOX 13 news anchor and TV show host.

Fountain is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a National Board Certified Counselor specializing in stress management, relationship issues. She serves on the board with several highly-respected Tampa Bay specialists including Rahul Mehra, M.D., board-certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist and

“When you are in private practice, you are in the office with your door closed from sun up to sun down; you are there treating people who are in pain—either physical or psychiatric,” HPN Founder Sheridan said. “It’s humanly impossible not to be affected by these things, and everything is confidential.”

Sheridan started Tampa Bay’s new exclusive community out of a long-time need for health and healing professionals that other local organizations don’t offer. HPN will host monthly events including happy hour socials, speed networking events, exciting presenters, and opportunities for members to showcase and highlight their businesses.

“This has always been my dream. It’s important that every time you attend, there will be someone else who will understand what it’s like helping other people,” Sheridan said. “It’s a support system designed to help you get re-energized, grow your business and relationships, while building your referral base.”
