Jackie Toledo, the only professional engineer in the Florida legislature, wants to change engineering licenses after the Surfside condo collapse to have separate licenses for civil and structural engineers. 4. A 58-year-old gunman who barricaded himself in a condo building has died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, Sarasota police said in a statement. Police say he was a disgruntled former employee who was fired from his maintenance job. (WTSP)
