New Tropical Disturbance Tracked Off Florida Coast: NHC
A new line of low pressure being tracked off the coasts of north Florida and Georgia is producing showers, thunderstorms, forecasters said.

FLORIDA — Days after Hurricane Beryl, now a weakening post tropical cyclone near the Indiana/Ohio border, pummeled areas in the Caribbean, Mexico and Texas, forecasters are eyeing a new tropical disturbance, according to the National Hurricane Center.
A broad line of low pressure that has popped up in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of north Florida and Georgia is producing some disorganized showers and thunderstorms, NHC said.
The system has low chances of developing, just 10 percent over the next seven days.

“Environmental conditions appear only marginally favorable for some additional development of this system over the next couple of days before it moves inland over the southeastern
U.S. by this weekend,” NHC said.
Denis Phillips, meteorologist for ABC Action News, said there’s no cause for concern.
