North Armenia, Green Street Lanes Closed

TAMPA, FL — Motorists who use North Armenia Avenue near Greet Street in their daily commutes may encounter a few delays through Friday. A water main break has forced the closing of several lanes in the area.

According to the Tampa Water Department, the left turn lane and left through lanes on North Armenia Avenue are closed to traffic at the Green Street intersection. The right through lane and right turn lanes remain open. The right outside and middle through lanes on Green Street are also closed. The left outside trough lanes on Green remain open.

The city expects to have repairs made by 5 p.m. March 29. Restoration work and a return to normal traffic patterns is expected by 5 p.m. on Friday.

Barricades and signs have been placed in the area. The city is asking motorists to use caution when driving in the area.
