1. Oronzo will have its grand opening for its second location located at Midtown Tampa on Tuesday, November 2nd. It is a joint project between Dan Bavaro of Bavaro's and Front Burner Brands, which owns The Melting Pot and other restaurant concepts. (Tampa Patch)

2. Sarasota County Schools removed a Black Lives Matter story from its 5th Grade curriculum, citing Critical Race Theory. The removed narrative was replaced with a May 1963 Civil Rights March in Birmingham. (WTSP)

3. Amazon will hire 2,000 people locally for seasonal jobs in Tampa Bay and 10,000 in Florida. The average job will start at $18 per hour plus an additional $3 an hour in some locations depending on shifts. (ABC Action News)

4. The tallest residential building on Florida’s Gulf Coast is coming to St. Petersburg and is called The Residences at 400 Central. The building will house over 300 condos with 9 different floor plans. Residences are on sale starting at $800,000. (WFLA)

5. Guitar World magazine named Tampa native Christie Lenée as one of the “Best Acoustic Guitarists in the World Right Now" in August. Lenée will play at the Straz Center in downtown Tampa on Monday, October 25th and tickets are now available. (Creative Loafing Tampa)
