A celebration of the life of , will be conducted Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 509 N. Florida Ave., Tampa. Burial will follow at Myrtle Hill Cemetery. Amanda died from injuries suffered in a car accident in Tallahassee. A visitation was held on Wednesday. Amanda is survived by her mother, Laurie Pierce, her father and stepmother, Ronald and Tamra Pierce, her sister, Jessica, and her brother, Chase. A scholarship fund has been set up at GTE Federal Credit Union. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations toward a scholarship in Amanda's name for a Plant High senior planning a career in special education. Donations can be made at any <a href="https://patch.com/A-tQyg" rel="nofollow">GTE Financial credit union</a>. The account name is Amanda O'Keefe Pierce.
