Police Officer Charged With Misdemeanor Battery, Say Tampa Police
The Tampa police officer is currently on administrative leave while the incident is being investigated.

TAMPA, FL — A Tampa Police officer is currently on administrative leave after being arrested on Sunday night.
Officers were called to the New Tampa home of Clarence Nathan for a domestic dispute. According to police, Nathan and a woman were in a verbal dispute when, according to the victim, Nathan grabbed her in a "bear hug" and pushed her.
The woman suffered minor injuries.

Nathan was arrested for misdemeanor battery and booked into the Orient Road Jail. He is currently on administrative leave while the incident is being investigated, police said. Nathan has worked as a Tampa police officer for eight years.
