1. Polk Sheriff Grady Judd is urging vaccines after a 32-year-old deputy died on Monday from COVID-19 after weeks of battling for his life. Judd shared, “This virus is real and it’s deadly and Christopher is the poster child for how deadly it is. He was only 32." (WFLA)

2. The office of Hillsborough County Property Appraiser Bob Henriquez is currently mailing out 2021 Notice of Proposed Property Taxes or TRIM to property owners. Assistance is available for residents both over the phone and online. (Tampa Patch)
3. A Black Tampa police officer who was fired for using a racial slur in two separate situations has been reinstated, despite opposition from Police Chief Dugan. The officer used racial slurs at Middleton High School. He will not be paid backpay and it is unclear if he will go back to working in schools. (Bay News 9)
4. Mad Beach Brewing is opening a new restaurant called "Sesh" in a historic cottage in St. Petersburg that once housed The Melting Pot. The popular Jelly Donut Burger will come from its original location, but the owners are also expected to roll out a new dining menu. (Creative Loafing Tampa)
5. Tampa International Airport continues the hunt for workers and is hosting a hiring fair today from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. that has nearly 1,000 jobs up for grabs. Jobs include restaurant roles, rental company positions, maintenance, baggage handling, and customer service as well. (Tampa Bay Times)
