Public Meeting to Discuss Land Purchase for Parking at Library

The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. on Oct. 30.

This just in from county officials:

On Tuesday, Oct. 30 at 6 p.m., Hillsborough County will hold a public meeting at the Charles J. Fendig Public Library, 3909 W. Neptune St. in Tampa, to discuss its intent to purchase two lots at 1501 S. Richard Ave. in Tampa, southwest of the library.

The land would allow for additional parking at the library. The estimated cost for the land is $298,500, funded through the Capital Improvement Program.

County staff will attend this meeting to receive public input, discuss the details of the project, and answer residents’ questions. Residents and library patrons are encouraged to attend.
