FLORIDA — Thanksgiving is nearly here and people in Florida are busy planning the perfect menu for this year’s holiday dinner.

In the rush to make a complete holiday meal for the entire family, it’s quite possible we’ll forget an item or two on our grocery lists. Fortunately, some grocery stores in Florida will be open Thanksgiving Day to pick up the forgotten rolls or the missing can of cranberry sauce.

Here are the hours for grocery stores that will be open on Thanksgiving Day, along with those that won’t. As always, Patch encourages you to call ahead to your local store to confirm hours at that location.

Albertsons: A majority of stores will be open on Thanksgiving Day from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. though most stores will adjust hours. Select pharmacies will also be closed or have adjusted hours. Customers should check with their local store to confirm hours.

CVS: All 24-hour CVS Pharmacy locations will remain open with regular hours from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Thanksgiving. Non-24-hour CVS Pharmacy locations will close at 5 p.m. Some locations may have reduced pharmacy hours or may be closed for the holiday. The company recommends calling ahead to confirm store hours.

Food Lion: Most stores will be open until 3 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, but customers are encouraged to call their local store to confirm hours.

Kroger: Stores will be open but hours will vary by region. Call ahead to your local store to confirm hours or if deliveries are available.

Rite Aid: Most Rite Aid stores will be open on Thanksgiving Day, but hours will vary depending upon location. Customers should check Rite Aid’s website for local store hours.

Safeway: A majority of stores will be open on Thanksgiving Day from 6 a.m. to midnight, though most stores will adjust hours. Select pharmacies will also be closed or have adjusted hours. Customers should check with their local store to confirm hours.

Save-A-Lot: Most stores will be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. but the grocery store suggests calling your nearby store for hours.

Save Mart: Most stores will be open from 9 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. but some stores may have modified hours. Check here.

ShopRite: Hours will vary by location. Call ahead to your local store to confirm hours.

Sprouts Farmers Market: Sprouts will be open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Fresh Market: Fresh Market stores will be open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Walgreens: Most Walgreens stores will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Walgreens stores and pharmacies that operate 24 hours will be open, with other select pharmacies open with modified hours. Customers are encouraged to check their local store hours before heading out.

Wawa: Most Wawa stores will are open 24 hours but click here to check your store.
