Last-minute trips to the store shouldn't be a problem. Most Florida grocery stores and pharmacies are open on New Year's Eve.

FLORIDA — So, you've bought the champagne, a bunch of noise makers and an assortment of funny "Happy New Year" party hats. You're ready to ring in the new year when you suddenly remember you forgot the plastic champagne glasses.

Fortunately, New Year's Eve falls on a Saturday and most stores will be open on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
