Rain, Fog, Cooler Weather In Tampa Bay’s Forecast
The Tampa Bay area's streak of mild weather will continue for a few more days, but it isn't expected to last.

TAMPA, FL — Tampa Bay area residents and visitors who have been enjoying the region's streak of sunny days might want to get out and soak up the sun while they can. According to the National Weather Service, the week ahead may not be as postcard perfect as the past few days.
The good news is that Monday and Tuesday are both expected to continue the mild streak. Monday should kick things off with mostly cloudy skies and a high in the mid-70s in much of the region. Cloudy conditions are expected to stick around into the nighttime hours when the low will drop into the lower 60s. Motorists are warned that patchy fog could be a concern in some areas in the late-night hours Monday and into the early morning hours Tuesday.
After the fog burns off Tuesday, forecasters say partly sunny skies should take over with a high in the upper 70s anticipated. Partly cloudy skies are likely in the nighttime Tuesday with a low in the lower 60s forecast yet again.

While the morning should start out mostly sunny with a high in the upper 70s forecast, things change heading into the afternoon and evening hours. Forecasters anticipate a 40 percent chance of storms and breezy conditions. Storm chances stick around heading into the overnight hours when the low should drop to about 60 degrees. While organized, severe weather isn’t in the cards, forecasters say Wednesday’s arrival of a low pressure system could also kick up a few thunderstorms.
Wednesday’s up-and-down weather isn't expected to last. Thursday is anticipated to bring sunny, mild conditions along with it.
