Repeal Day Gala coming December 7th to Ybor City Cuban Club

The 10th annual event is organized by the U.S. Bartenders Guild of Tampa Bay and marks the end of Prohibition.

The 10th Annual Repeal Day Gala is coming December 7th to Ybor City's Cuban Club. The event is organized by the U.S. Bartenders Guild (USBG) of Tampa Bay and is a celebration of the end of the end of Prohibition.

An average of 700 guests have attended the gala over the years.

This year's gala will celebrate the 1933 Chicago World’s Fair, an event that fell on the centennial anniversary of the Windy City’s birth. There will be aerial acrobatics, vaudeville acts, two live bands, and more.

Charity is an important part of the event and in the past they have donated to Beat NB (neuroblastoma), The Cuban Club, The Museum of the American Cocktail, and the USBG of Tampa Bay. Industry sponsors and volunteers are from more than 27 U.S. states including Puerto Rico.

Repeal Day conference also now coincides with the event and will occur on December 5th and 6th. Tickets are available to all these events and can be purchased on Eventbrite.

General Admission starts at $100 and there is a conference and gala pass available for $200. Members of the USBG can receive a discount to the event with proof of membership.
