1. TransCare will operate 3 advanced life support ambulances in Hillsborough County and is now hiring for 50 positions. Transcare is operated by the nonprofit Crisis Center of Tampa Bay. The need for medical transportation is high as the population swells in the area. (Tampa Patch)

2. Over 26% of Tampa renters are looking to move away from the area, according to a new report from Apartment List. Rising rent prices are pushing Tampa to become more rent-burdened, joining metros such as Los Angeles and Boston. (Creative Loafing)
3. Tampa Developer Lawsuit: 81 Bay Brewing Company owner Michael Beard says he believes Developer Stephen Michelini is "playing games with the City Council and its institutions." In October, Michelini filed a lawsuit against City Councilman John Dingfelder accusing him of withholding public records. Others, including the president of the Tampa Homeowners Association of Neighborhoods, agree with Beard. (Florida Politics)
4. Tampa Electric Co. on Friday asked state regulators for a boost in customer bills in 2022 because of higher-than-expected natural gas costs. It would be around a $15.43 increase in the monthly electric bills of residential customers who use 1,000 kilowatt hours of electricity a month starting in February 2022. (Fox 13 Tampa)
5. The Brewsology Beer Festival is coming to Tampa at the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) on Saturday, December 11th from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. The event will feature 150 different craft brews from 50 local breweries and allow guests to explore MOSI's exhibits.
