The Rez Grill Rolls Out New 'Southern-Minded' Menu

TAMPA, FL — The Rez Grill at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Tampa rolled out a new "southern-minded" menu recently at The Rez Grill.

Creative Culinary Director Frank Anderson and his team aimed to elevate their American comfort food with new creations. As usual their food hits all the right notes.

The popular favorites of the menu from the original menu at the Chicken & Waffles and St. Louis Ribs which are both delicious and satisfying.

New menu items include:

Salads

• Heirloom Tomato ($13) - bacon, cornbread croutons, fried red onions, buttermilk dressing

Starters

• Grilled Quail ($19) - collard greens, bacon, caper brown butter
• Hushpuppies ($10) - pimento cheese
• Fried Green Tomatoes ($19) - jumbo lump crab, field greens, tomato vinaigrette

Entrees

• Grilled Meat Loaf ($28) -Yukon mash potatoes, mushroom gravy, crispy fried onions
• Shrimp Po’ Boy ($19) - fried shrimp, remoulade, lettuce
• Red Snapper ($39) - basmati rice, crawfish creole cream, scallion

Desserts

• Smokin’ S’mores Jar ($12) - brownie, marshmallow, graham cracker mousse, heath bar pieces

Portions are quite shareable and The Rez Grill itself is both a relaxing and fun place to go either with a friend or as a group. The cocktail menu and craft beer also makes for a winning dinner choice. Don't miss the dessert, it is definitely a must-try, although I'll eat anything made by Chef Frank Anderson, he is truly one of the best chefs in the Tampa Bay area.
