Visit St. Pete/Clearwater Publication Names Sand Key Beach Best Beach In The Bay
CLEARWATER, FL — Out of the 35 miles of shoreline nestled along Florida’s Gulf Coast, Sand Key and Clearwater’s 2 1/2-mile stretch has been voted best beach by Visit St. Pete/Clearwater’s 2023 edition of Gulf to Bay Magazine.
Sheraton Sand Key Resort is home to 13 acres of white sand on the beach and welcomed the recognition awarded by the publication.

“For half a century, we have been happy to call beautiful Sand Key Beach home and are so proud to be recognized by such a publication. We know this announcement will go far in keeping our little strip of paradise on the map for beach lovers everywhere,” said the resort’s general manager, Dominic Provenzano.
This announcement comes just in time for the start of the resort’s renovation, including all 390 rooms and suites and the exterior. While it's always been a top-choice destination for visitors, the renovation brings an eclectic new design to the property, and the staff is eager to invite a new generation of guests to the new, modern oasis later this year.
