TOWN N' COUNTRY, FL — Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office detectives is continuing to investigate the shooting death of a man at about 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Waters Avenue and Anderson Road. Deputies arrived to find a man dead next to his vehicle in the westbound lanes of Waters Avenue, and the shooter at the scene, ready to cooperate with authorities. The shooter told deputies that the dead man got out of his vehicle at the traffic light and the other man shot him. Neither has been identified and the sheriff's office did not say what provoked the shooting. "Detectives are currently questioning the shooter, who is cooperating," said Sheriff Chad Chronister. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 813-247-8200.
