Southwest, JetBlue Among Employers At Tampa International Airport Hiring Day
The employers hope to fill more than 400 positions ahead of the spring break season, the busiest travel period of the year for TPA.
TAMPA, FL — Tampa International Airport will host another of its popular airport-wide hiring day events on Feb. 16.
The Hillsborough County Aviation Authority, airlines, shops, restaurants, rental car companies, ground handling services and other TPA businesses will be taking applications at the event. The employers hope to fill more than 400 positions ahead of the spring break season, the busiest travel period of the year for TPA.
Southwest Airlines, JetBlue, the Transportation Security Administration and more are among the 24 businesses currently slated to be at the event.

Companies will conduct on-site interviews at the event, with some employers offering jobs on the spot, so applicants should bring two forms of identification.
The hiring day will be from 9 a.m. to noon on Thursday, Feb. 16, in the Main Terminal Event Space between the shuttle stations for Airsides E and F.
