1. U.K.-based Asian restaurant chain, Wagamama, is opening its first Florida location at Water Street Tampa. The 4,200-square-foot restaurant has a 2022 planned opening with New York City and Boston locations also opening. Guests can find Asian noodle dishes, appetizers, cocktails, and more. 2. Looking for work? Sprouts Farmers Market is planning to hire 90 people to open its new location in Tampa Heights on October 27th. It is part of the grocery store's expansion around the Bay Area. Sprouts is first conducting recruiter phone interviews with Snagajob and interested candidates should register online. (Patch Tampa)

3. St. Petersburg’s mayoral candidates will face off on Wednesday, September 22nd, at the Dali Museum for a discussion of the arts and tourism and how they impact the city. Candidates Robert Blackmon and Ken Welch will respond to questions from moderator Bill DeYoung, senior writer and editor of the St. Pete Catalyst, and from Catalyst readers. (St. Pete Catalyst)

4. A Largo man has been charged with a hate crime after attacking a transgender woman, according to police. A Pinellas County affidavit says that William Gamble, 25, called the victim several slurs and a “fake fraud” during the attack in which he hit the victim in the face. (WFLA)

5. President Biden is easing travel restrictions for international visitors. Starting in November, foreign travelers flying to the U.S. will need to demonstrate proof of vaccination, as well as a negative COVID test within 3 days of flying. (WTSP)
