Sweet Buns Bakery now serving delicious Asian goods near USF

Hungry for something new in Tampa? Sweet Buns Bakery is the latest business to open its doors in the USF area off Fowler Avenue in the Winn Dixie Plaza. The Asian bakery is one of the first of its kind for Tampa and is similar to popular bakery chains, such as 85°C Bakery Café, that sell freshly baked buns, cakes, and drinks.

One other Sweet Buns Bakery location exists in Gainesville near the University of Florida.

Most of the baked goods range from around $2 to $5 with a wide-variety of products. The best strategy is to visit with family or friends and stock up on a few baked goods to share. Price points are great for the area, which is densely packed with university students nearby.

Baked goods range from savory choicesl such as hot dog, ham, and egg to sweet options including sweet cream, pineapple, and coconut...to name a few.

The cafe is self-service. Guests can pick-up a tray and sheet, then proceed to pick whatever baked they want to buy, and pay at the register in the front. Most major credit cards are accepted. There are plenty of seats and free Wi-Fi for guests to enjoy.

Another interesting offering at the cafe is a variety of Asian hot food available for order that ranges from about $7 to $10.

The menu offers noodle soup including thin egg noodles, flat rice noodles, vermicelli noodles, round rice noodles, udon noodles with a variety of toppings that can be added, such as shrimp and pork wontons, beef stew, roast duck, bbq pork, pig feet, and soy chicken.

Other options include rice combos with the toppings above and soy chicken wings as well as congee, steam Chinese broccoli, steamed lettuce, fried Chinese donut, fried Chinese dough, fried Chinese roll, and fried fish balls.
