1. The federal government is investigating the death of a Tampa Bay man killed in an industrial accident at CEMEX, a global building materials company with nearly two dozen locations locally. (WFLA)

2. The parents of Brian Laundrie have filed a court petition seeking access to their son's estate. Laundrie's assets are listed as $20,000 in Bank of America checking/savings accounts.
