Updated: Tampa Announces Closures For Roadwork
The city's water department will close roads this week to work on water mains.

TAMPA, FL — Beginning at 9 a.m. Wednesday, East Laurel Street will be closed between North Marion Street and North Morgan Street while the Tampa Water Department conducts maintenance on the water distribution system.
Barricades and signs will be located in the area to assist with rerouting and traffic flow. Drivers should consider alternate routes and use caution when driving in the area.
Modifications to lane closures may be necessary during the course of the work.The completion of the work with a return to normal traffic patterns is expected by 5 p.m., Friday, depending on the weather.

The outside westbound lane and outside eastbound lane on West El Prado Boulevard will be closed between South Renellie Drive and South Hesperides Street through 5 p.m. Friday while the Tampa Water Department conducts maintenance on the water distribution system.
Barricades and signs will be located in the area to assist with traffic flow. Drivers should use caution in the area. Modifications may be necessary during the course of the work.

There will be transitional lane closures on South Westshore Boulevard between West Estrella Street and West Clear Street while the Tampa Water Department conducts scheduled maintenance on the water distribution system.
Barricades and flaggers will be located in the area to assist with rerouting and traffic flow. All lanes will reopen to traffic by 5 p.m. each day and close again at 9 a.m. the following morning to continue the work.
All eastbound lanes of East Osborne Avenue will be closed between North 20th Street and North 22nd Street through 4 p.m. Friday while the Tampa Water Department returns to complete additional repairs after an earlier water main break. Barricades and signs will be located in the area to assist with traffic flow.
Drivers should consider using another route. Modifications to lane closures may be necessary during the course of the work.
All travel lanes on East Twiggs Street are closed through 5 p.m. Thursday between Channelside Drive and North 12th Street while the Tampa Water Department repairs a water main break.
Barricades and signs are located in the area to assist with traffic flow.
The Tampa Water Department may need to return at a later date to complete additional work.
