Tampa Bay Area Weekend Weather Forecast
While fog may remain a concern over the weekend, forecasters say mild temperatures and sunshine are also in the cards.

TAMPA, FL — Tampa Bay area residents and visitors with big outdoor plans over the weekend should find the weather cooperative. Forecasters at the National Weather Service, however, are warning that fog could be a bit of a problem in the late-night and early morning hours.
Friday is expected to kick the weekend off right with sunny conditions and a high in the low 80s. Partly cloudy skies are anticipated heading into the evening hours with a low in the lower 60s forecast for much of the region.
Patchy fog is expected to roll in overnight Friday and will likely stick around until Saturday morning. While forecasters say fog could become rather dense in some areas, they expect it will burn off by mid-morning Saturday. Motorists who encounter fog are urged to keep a safe distance between themselves and other vehicles on the roads. Low beams are also recommended in dense fog conditions.

The workweek should start off with a continuation of mild conditions and slightly warmer daily highs in the low 80s. Rain isn’t expected to move back into the forecast until sometime on Wednesday or Thursday when a cold front is forecast to move across the region. That front, however, is not expected to bring more than the potential for some lightning and locally heavy rain along with it.
