TAMPA, FL — Tampa Bay area residents who have been enjoying the region’s streak of warm, sunny days should find the forecast for the week ahead to their liking. According to the National Weather Service, the region is in for a string of days with highs in the mid-to-upper 80s with only a few chances for rain in sight.
Monday is expected to kick things off with sunny conditions and a high in the mid-80s. Partly cloudy skies are expected in the overnight hours when the low should only fall into the mid-60s. Humidity levels during the daytime are expected at 94 percent, which means it could feel a little sticky out there.
Tuesday should bring mostly sunny skies and a high in the mid-80s once again. Forecasters say the overnight low will fall into the mid-60s. Patchy fog could be a concern in the late-night hours on Tuesday and heading into Wednesday morning.

Once Wednesday’s fog wears off, forecasters say the day should shape up nicely. Sunny skies and a high in the mid-80s are expected. Mostly clear skies are anticipated in the overnight hours with a low in the mid-60s yet again. Thursday is expected to be a near repeat of Wednesday minus the potential for early morning fog.
Slight rain chances do creep into the forecast heading into Friday. Despite the potential for a few drops to fall, forecasters say the day should witness a high in the low-to-mid-80s. Rain chances are expected to stick around in the overnight hours when the low will only dip into the upper 60s.

Storm chances are expected to stick around through Saturday, but they remain slight, according to the weather service. Daytime temperatures throughout the weekend are anticipated to continue breaking that 80-degree mark.
