Tampa Bay Builders Association Welcomes New VP, Board Officers

TAMPA, FL — The Tampa Bay Builders Association, this region’s voice for the home-building industry, recently held its annual organizational meeting formally installing Lauren Morgan as its executive vice president.

Morgan, who has been with the trade organization since 2012, previously serving as membership director and as its interim EVP since August.

As executive vice president, Morgan leads the 1,000-plus-member organization focused on enhancing the industry’s contributions and reputation throughout Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco counties. Morgan’s key strategies are membership development, business and trade group outreach, and community education about the importance of the home-building industry to the region.

“I’m thrilled to continue my long association with TBBA as its new executive vice president,” said Morgan.“It’s an honor to work with this group of dedicated professionals at a time when creating affordable and attainable housing has never been more important.”

TBBA also elected its 2022-2023 board officers and directors which represent both builder and associate members. Members of the board of directors are elected by the general membership, serve two-year terms and create policy ensuring that TBBA’s mission and objectives are followed.

“Lauren is experienced, insightful and knows this region and organization well,” said newly elected board President Brian Bullock, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Homes by West Bay. “With Lauren at the helm of our organization, I expect that our board will be able to find reasonable solutions on industry issues as well as genuine consensus around the best interests of our communities.”
