TAMPA, FL — As part of the new Chick-fil-A Community Scholars program, Tampa Chick-fil-A team member and Southeastern University sophomore Mireina Ramirez has been awarded a $25,000 True Inspiration Scholarship.

Every year through the Remarkable Futures Scholarship initiative, Chick-fil-A offers two scholarship opportunities — the True Inspiration Scholarship of $25,000 and the Leadership Scholarship from $1,000 or $2,500 — to team members who work at a franchised, company-owned or -affiliated restaurant.

The scholarships can be used at any accredited college, university or technical/vocational school and are available for both full-time and part-time students. All scholarship funds are paid in advance.

Ramirez studies multidisciplinary studies and double minors in church music and organizational leadership.

Her goal is to be a ministry leader.

This year, Chick-fil-A celebrates the 50th anniversary of its scholarship giving, which has helped restaurant team members pursue academic goals and further their career opportunities since 1973.

Chick-fil-A Inc. has awarded more than $25 million in scholarships in 2023, investing in higher education for more than 13,000 restaurant team members and 13 community service-minded students across the U.S. and Canada.
