Tampa Teen Reported Missing, Endangered

Tampa Police say a 17-year-old girl is missing and endangered. They're asking folks to keep a watch out for her.

TAMPA, FL — The Tampa Police Department is asking residents throughout the region to keep a look out for a 17-year-old girl who has been missing since Tuesday.

According to police, Hailey Acierno “is considered missing and endangered, and is in need of medication.”

Hailey was last seen on Tuesday. “Her family is increasingly concerned about her well-being,” the agency wrote in a Thursday, March 30 email to media.

Hailey was last seen in the New Tampa area. She may have been wearing a yellow cap, black T-shirt and possibly black jeans. She may be carrying an M&M bookbag.

“She is known to frequent the New Tampa and Wiregrass areas,” the email noted.
