1. Holiday Movies: Historic Tampa Theatre will screen Christmas movies at Curtis Hixon Park this holiday season. It begins on November 20th at 7 p.m. with The Polar Express (2004) followed by A Christmas Story the following week at the same time. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs for a night under the stars. 2. A 71-year-old woman and her 1-year-old grandson suffered non-life-threatening injuries when their car was hit by a Brightline train Monday in South Florida. The woman turned on the tracks for unknown reasons. The day marked the return of the train after a 20-month pandemic pause. None of the 53 passengers on the train were hurt, including Brightline President Patrick Goddard, who was headed to Fort Lauderdale station for a ceremony. (WPLG Local 10)

3. Community Input: The first public hearing on redistricting in Hillsborough County took place Monday at Frederick B. Karl County Center. The next one will take place Tuesday, November 16th at 6 p.m. The style is a hybrid public meeting. (Tampa Patch)

4. University of South Florida (USF) Provost and Executive Vice President Ralph Wilcox is stepping down next year, according to an announcement made by the school on Monday. Wilcox has worked for USF for nearly 20 years and has served as provost since 2008. The university says he will stay on as long as is needed. (Florida Politics)

5. Winter, the star of “Dolphin Tale” and “Dolphin Tale 2,” is suffering from a bad infection and is quite sick, according to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Officials believe Winter may be fighting a gastrointestinal infection. The facility has cared for Winter since December 5th, 2005. (Creative Loafing Tampa)
