TAMPA, FL — The NFL's Mike Evans is not leaving Florida.

News broke Monday that the five-time Pro Bowl wide receiver signed a $52 million two-year contract to stay with the Tampa Buccaneers, steering clear of becoming a free agent.

ESPN reported Evans, 30, is poised to receive $26 million per season, with $35 million guaranteed under his new contract.

Deryk Gilmore, Evans' agent, told ESPN the multi-million dollar deal is the largest yet "for a wide receiver this old on his third contract."

Evans shared his reaction to the news in an Instagram post alongside a photo of himself in his Bucs' uniform and a brief "The Wolf of Wall Street" clip, depicting actor Leonardo DiCaprio stating he is "not leaving."

"Fire them cannons," Evans said in the post.

The Bucs' General Manager Jason Licht expressed wanting Evans to remain a "Buc for life" in a past news interview.

NFL writer Kevin Patra said Evans' latest deal sets him up to possibly finish out his professional football career in Tampa.

"By far the most prolific receiver in Buccaneers history, Evans has generated 10 1,000-plus-yard receiving seasons in his decade in Tampa, a record for a receiver to start a career. Evans' 11,680 total receiving yards are 4,990 more than the next-closest Buc all-time (Chris Godwin, 6,690), and his 94 touchdown catches are 60 more than No. 2 (Godwin, 34)," Patra wrote.
