Tampa Bay's Longest-Running Culinary Event To Take Place Saturday On Tampa Riverwalk

TAMPA, FL — Tampa Bay's first and longest-running culinary benefit is back. The Straz Center for the Performing Arts will host its annual eat-and-drink extravaganza, Taste at the Straz, Saturday at 7 p.m. on the Tampa Riverwalk in front of the Straz Center.

The event will include food provided by more than 40 of the Tampa Bay area’s best restaurants, craft brews from Tampa Bay microbreweries, cocktails and live music for one inclusive price. General admission tickets are $95, VIP admission, including early entry and access to the VIP lounges, is $185 and VIP tables of 10 are $2,250. Click here for tickets.

Featured musical artists at this year's event include St. Petersburg singer-songwriter Keith James; Orlando musical ensemble N Fusion; Tampa, Polk State College teacher and the only classical guitarist named a Presidential Scholar in the Arts, Benjamin Pila; and Tampa Bay hip-hop, R&B, jazz and pop musicians Jinx, Shelby Sol & Friends.

The nonprofit performing arts center's signature fundraiser, the event has raised more than $2.5 million to support the Straz Center's productions and arts education programs.
